This is kind of worrying considering I'm currently making a Gangster film with replica weapons. However we are usually very very careful with them and only display them when filming. Every other time we put them away and usually rehease without them.
I made a short film, "The Shoot" (soon to appear on Exposure Shorts Vol3...) which involved me running about with a gun in the car park behind my house in Cambridge... I was in full view of the surrounding houses, and I had a BMW speeding off as well, but SURPRISINGLY, No-one even mentioned it... it was only when I recently showed it at a local screening in Glasgow, quite a few people mentioned how lucky I was... I never thought about it at the time!
